Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Butter (2 "pats" = a really decent slice of butter)
2 slices American Cheese (the real stuff)
Mayo
2 Slices of White Bread
Pepper
1. Assembly Sandwich.
a. Lay out both slices of bread.
b. Spread Mayo evenly on both slices of bread.
c. Put both slices of cheese on one piece of bread making sure to cover up all parts of bread.
d. Sprinkle a little pepper on the other mayo side.
e. Put the 2 halves together.
f. Mash the sandwich down with your hands.
2. Put one pat of butter in small frying pan and melt on medium high heat.
3. Once butter is melted, place sandwich in pan and move it around so that the bread soaks up what butter is there.
4. Leave sandwich there until it is golden brown.
5. Remove from pan when the one side is golden brown.
6. Put the last piece of butter in pan and let it melt.
7. Return sandwich to pan placing "raw" side back in pan and move around to soak up the butter.
8. Press the sandwich down while it is cooking so that it will cook completely.
9. Remove from pan when it is golden brown.
10. Cut in half or in quarters with pizza cutter.
11. Serve with chips and pickles.
